What a wonderful morning we had for our Grandparents Service ! We had tables set out in cafe style and lots of craft activities and games to share for all ages, interspersed by readings, prayers, hymns and a most appropriate sermon. Tea, coffee, juice, cakes and biscuits were served throughout the service. Certainly a service with a difference and which will guide us on future services. Thank you to our minister Rev Gilbert Esambe and our Youth Leader Daniella Damson who devised the service, all who planned activities and took part in the service and those who came along to share it.

We are celebrating International Repair Day by sharing the love, and donating £500 (£250 ea) to two local good causes which are close to our environment-loving heart: Ribble Rivers Trust and Ribble Valley Climate Action Network 🥳 🎉 💕

👉 Since our launch in March 2025, Clitheroe Repair Café has handled over 660 items, successfully fixing around 64% of them.
👉 Our amazing volunteers have contributed almost 1,500 hours of their time to make the cafe a success.

Repair Café International is celebrating its 10th International Repair Day on Saturday 17 October, and with more than 4,000 repair cafes registered wordwide, we are very excited to help mark the celebration here in Clitheroe! 🌍🛠️♻️❤️

Join us at our repair cafe next Saturday 17th at Clitheroe United Reformed Church - URC, 10-12, for more mends and good times! Remember, repairs are free but it's our visitors' incredibly generous donations that not only help keep the cafe running, but mean we are lucky enough to be able make an impact for other local good causes too - so thank you for all your support to date!

Rainbows, Junior Church and the Youth Group enjoyed taking part in the Churches Count on Nature event again this year by each doing bug hunts in our church wildlife garden.
