We’re so excited to be joining Christians around the world for the Global Week of 24/7 Prayer, from 6th -13th September 🌍🙏

Together, we’re aiming to cover every hour of every day - all 168 hours 🕐 - in prayer 🙏

This year’s theme is “At the Name of Jesus” inspired by Philippians 2:9–11:

“God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name…”

As we pray, reflect, gather and worship, we pray that we’ll encounter the glory of Jesus’ name and boldly declare that Jesus Christ is Lord. 🙌

There are lots of ways to get involved:
🙏Pray from home or in church
🙏 Spend time at our interactive prayer stations, suitable for all ages and stages of faith
🎶 Join with others for times of worship
🍞 🍷Share in Holy Communion together
🌍 Take your place alongside Christians across the world in this focused week of prayer

Whenever and wherever you choose to pray, that can be your perfect time and place to join in - making space to listen to God, intercede for others and encounter His love and power in new ways.

A little summer throwback to our wonderful Summer Seaside Special☀️🌊🍦

A couple of weeks ago, our Connections team welcomed our seniors for a morning of seaside fun, friendship and plenty of smiles - all without leaving town!

There was good company, delicious refreshments 🍦🫖🍰 and, of course, all the fun of the seaside. Most importantly, it was a lovely opportunity to spend time together, make memories and enjoy one another’s company.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make Seaside Special such a special morning. ❤️

☀️ Seaside Special is back! 🌊

Join us on Tuesday 11th August at 10.00am for our annual Seaside Special - a fun, summer seaside-themed morning hosted by our Connections team for our seniors.

Come and enjoy good company, refreshments 🍦🫖🍰and all the fun of the seaside, without leaving town!

Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, we'd love to welcome you.

It has been such a joy to see members of our church family spending last week at New W**e.

Through inspiring worship 🎵🎶and teaching to times of prayer 🙏🏻 fellowship and encouragement, it has been a time of growing in faith, encountering God and being reminded of His faithfulness. The more we press in to Him, the more we see of his Kingdom power!

We're so thankful for all that God has been doing - encouraging hearts ❤️renewing faith and equipping His people - both in the lives of those who were there, and through the conversations, friendships and moments shared together.

We're excited to see how God continues His work in and through us in the weeks ahead

Join Bishop Paul for an evening to celebrate what God is doing in our local area. Pray, worship and explore our next steps.

We are delighted that The Rt Revd Paul Davies, Bishop of Dorking and Acting Bishop of Guildford, is holding here at HTC one of 12 Gatherings taking place across the Diocese.

As Bishop Paul calls us to deepen our culture of prayer, we'll come together in:
Praise-filled worship 🙌 🎶🎵
Faith-building stories celebrating what God is doing in our parish
Prayer 🙏 for the needs of every parish, school and chaplaincy in the deanery
An inspiring message from Bishop Paul as he shares what he senses God is saying to us in this season, and how together we can build a sustained culture of prayer to underpin all that we do.

As our diocese continues to look ahead with hope, this Gathering is an opportunity to seek God together, encourage one another and unite in prayer for the future.

Join us on Tuesday 14th July at 7.00pm for refreshments with a start time of 7.30pm

Another Fruit of the Spirit 🍇 is ready for Kidsgate!

Our fruit friends 🍏🍒🍌are helping us discover what it means to grow God's fruit 🍉🍓 in our lives. Each session we learn more about the wonderful qualities God wants to grow in us, including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and goodness through stories, songs 🎶🎵 games and fun together.

Kidsgate is for children in Reception to Year 2 (younger siblings welcome) and their families. We'd love you to join us for our last session of this summer term:
Sunday 12th July at 3.00pm.

Have you got questions about God, faith or the Bible? 📖

Explore is a relaxed opportunity to ask questions and discover more about the Christian faith.

There are no lectures and no pressure - just honest conversation, space to be curious and the chance to explore what the Bible 📖 says for yourself.

Our first session is on
📅 Wednesday, 24th June at 7.30pm
and will consider questions such as How is God relevant? and What is God like? An optional second session will explore Why God and a cross? and Where is God today?

Join us for our next Kidsgate Church this Sunday 14th June, 3.00pm – 4.00pm

Kidsgate is a fun, informal and interactive gathering for young families with children in Reception to Year 2 (younger siblings are very welcome too!)

Join us for crafts 🎨🖌️🫟activities, action songs 🎵🎶 Bible stories 📖🙏🏻 puppets and lots more as we learn about God's love ❤️together.

We'd love to see you there, and do invite friends and family to come along too!

We’re seeking a full-time Rising Generations Pastor to lead the discipleship, pastoral care and outreach of children, young people and families across our parish.
This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer and develop ministry with children and young people of all ages, helping them to encounter, celebrate and share God's transforming love.

If you have a strong Christian faith, a passion for working with children, young people and families and have experience leading and developing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
