Some photos from our lovely weekend away as a congregation. We had so much fun playing games, relaxing, eating, chatting with each other, taking in the views and worshipping. We are truly blessed.

Almost 50 members and friends of the Clay Cross congregation gathered at the church's group accomodation, Dunfield House in Kington. We got together from the 3rd to the 5th of September for a Congregation Weekend, with a theme of Rainbows. As always a greatly enjoyable time was had by all. For some of the attendees, this was their first time at Dunfield, and it was a delight to see everyone enjoying the house and the grounds in the blazing sunshine. The children participated in a range of activities including raft racing, craft, and rainbow science, and for the grown-ups some of the highlights included meditation, art, cooking, and a five mile walk, in beautiful weather. A lot of sport was played, mainly disc golf and cricket. We also enjoyed a movie night with popcorn and hot chocolate, swimming sessions in the pool, and the Dunfield team provided their usual fantastic catering, including cooked breakfast, roast dinner, and sticky toffee pudding. We are already looking forward to next year. https://www.dunfieldhouse.org.uk/

We are reopening our School Holiday Meals Scheme for half term. If you are going to struggle feeding your children, please send us a message and we can issue a voucher for you to collect Friday this week or either tuesday or friday next week.

Please make sure you contact us at the morning of the day you want to collect at the latest as we will be busy during the foodbank sessions. We will need to know your address, the number of adults and the ages of any children in the house.

I am sure there are people you haven't seen in a long time or someone who you see all the time and want to tell them how much you love them... Why not have a go at creating one of these origami hearts and send it to that special person.
