WELCOME REVD TOM THOMAS!!

In a memorable and inspiring service on Tuesday 17th March in St Peter’s Wootton Wawen, the Bishop of Coventry licensed Revd Tom Thomas to be our next Priest-in-Charge of the Churches of Arden. Over 160 people attended from the four parishes, and from Tom’s previous parish in Sparkhill, Birmingham, together with clergy and friends from the wider Coventry Diocese. It was a joyous occasion, followed by a wonderful reception in Wootton Wawen Village Hall.
Tom was joined by his wife Jo, daughters Eve and Aisha.

NEW MINISTER ANNOUNCED FOR THE CHURCHES OF ARDEN!
It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce that Rev Tom Thomas has accepted the Bishop of Coventry’s invitation to serve as the next Priest-in-Charge of the Churches of Arden.

In Tom’s 30 or so years of ministry, he has served in a wide variety of contexts, for the past 15 years at St Christopher's, Springfield in the Sparkhill area of inner-city Birmingham. Sensing a call to move to a very different context for the remaining years of his ordained ministry, Tom is delighted to have the opportunity to join in village life in our communities.

Please join us in praying for Tom and his family – his wife Jo and daughters Eve and Aisha - as we look forward to welcoming them in the coming months.
