On Saturday June 19th, 1937, the Fondation Stone of the Colvin Masonic Memorial Temple was laid by the R.W. Pro. Grand Master. At the same time, Right Worshipful Brother Capt. R.B.R. Colvin laid a Memorial Stone on the opposite side of the entrance to the building. Lady Gwendoline Colvin and other members to the late Brig.-Gen. Colvin's family were also present.

On Wednesday October 27th, 1937, the Colvin Masonic Memorial Temple was dedicated by the Right Worshipful Brother Brig-Gen. Kenneth John Kincaid-Smith, Provincial Grand Master.

Today, there are several units of various Masonic Orders using the centre for their meetings : Craft Lodges, Royal Arch Chapters, Mark Master Mason & Royal Ark Mariner lodges, Rose Croix Chapters, Knights Templar Preceptory, Red Cross of Constantine Conclaves, Cryptic Councils, Allied Degree Council, Secret Monitor Conclave, , Knights Mason Council.
