St George's Church, Chorley Situated in the heart of Chorley's town centre, we have a large regular congregation and welcome families and children of all ages.

Welcome to the Parish Church of St George, Chorley. The Church is situated in the St George's conservation area for Chorley. It is a spacious "Waterloo" Church and is Grade II* listed. We have a large regular congregation and welcome families and children of all ages into the worshipping life of our Church, for which we have gained the Child Friendly Award. There is also a wide range of Youth and Social Activities associated with St George's.

Today we celebrated 50 years of Chorley's Two Worlds Christian Bookshop at the Free Evangelical Church in the presence of the mayor and her consort. Wonderful tribute to the faithfulness of God and of the stalwart team of volunteers that it's still here and thriving in this internet dominated age. Our Simon Wilson is a volunteer and gave a great speech at the celebration. Do pop in, you'll always be made welcome and offered a brew!
