Buckshaw Village Church Welcome to Buckshaw Village Church. We meet together every Sunday morning at 10am our family Worship Service with age related groups.

We are a warm welcoming church family who are seeking to Follow Jesus | Love others | Serve the world Buckshaw Village Church is a welcoming, family friendly, evangelical church based in the North West of England. It was originally planted from St Andrew’s Church, Leyland back in 2010. Our prayer is that we may be a healthy church impacting and transforming its community.

Buckshaw Festival is fast approaching and so we are praying for this event and for the amazing team making it happen. We pray that the final plans will come together smoothly. We pray for strength and protection over each member of the team. We pray for fun and safety on the day. We pray for great weather. We pray for God to bless our village that day as we come together for this wonderful event.

Most people would agree that life isn't fair.

We see injustice. People being overlooked. Systems that seem broken. Voices that go unheard. And deep down, many of us long for a world where people are treated with dignity, where wrongs are made right, and where everyone has the chance to flourish.

But what does real justice actually look like?

For followers of Jesus, justice isn't just a cause, it's rooted in the character of God. It's about restoring what's broken, defending the vulnerable, and treating people with compassion, fairness, and respect.

It's not simply about identifying problems. It's about becoming part of the solution.

So if you had the power to change one injustice in the world today, what would it be and why?

Today we are praying for our Safeguarding Team.

At BVC, we place a huge priority on safeguarding and are deeply grateful for those within our church family who take the lead in helping us be as safe, welcoming, and caring a place as possible.

Thank you for the time, wisdom, diligence, and compassion you bring to this vital ministry. Please join us in praying for our safeguarding team today, that God would give them wisdom, discernment, protection, and encouragement as they serve our church family.

If you're fairly new to BVC, we'd love to invite you to stay for our Church Family Meal this Sunday after the 10am gathering.

It's a great opportunity to share a meal together, get to know people a little better, and feel more at home in the life of the church.

When you arrive, look out for the Newcomers Table. We'll have a space set aside where you can meet others who are new, along with some of the BVC family who would love to get to know you.

We'd love to see you there.

Fear dominates headlines. It fills news feeds, conversations, and sometimes our hearts.

But faith calls us to something different.

Faith is not pretending problems don't exist. It's not ignoring reality or putting our heads in the sand. Faith looks reality in the face and still chooses to trust that God is sovereign, present, and at work.

The question isn't whether there are reasons to be afraid. The question is: What voice will shape the way we live?

Fear causes us to retreat, hoard, and give up. Faith produces courage, generosity, and perseverance even when the outcome is uncertain.

If someone watched your life this week, would they see fear leading you—or faith?
