Anyone willing to get on their knees - other than in prayer - work party Saturday 28th October at 0930, to w**d and clear the gravel trench around the base of the church walls [French Drain to architects]. This is vital to the drainage of the building and its structural integrity. If you can come, please dress suitably and if possible bring your favourite hand tools. Refreshments provided.

Home-made Cream Teas at the church this afternoon, lovely visitors, some who had never been to see the church before. All very complimentary though, and very generous with donations! Thank you so much!
The teas will continue on the remaining Sundays in August.

Church looking very well cared for after the indoor section of the work party had dusted, cleaned and polished; perfect for Sunday's visitors. The outside heavy gang worked wonders in clearing the vital drainage channels and cutting back the heavy overgrowth in the churchyard; unknown regions were revealed!
Thanks to all who turned up and worked so hard!

Waiting for the sudden thunderstorm and torrential rain to pass before finishing the signs for tomorrow's Teas at the Church...

05/08/2017

Some of the hard-working volunteers who turned up this morning to cut back the overgrown areas of the churchyard and to clean the church.
Tomorrow, 6 Aug and the following Sundays in August we offer Sunday afternoon tea 3-4.30 pm; no charge but donations welcome to help maintain this historic church for all to enjoy!
