Maranatha House Church

Maranatha House Church Since 23rd March 2020
Maranatha House Church Real people. Real faith. No performance. Our Sunday gatherings are simple and relational.

Maranatha House Church is a small, online house church gathering live on YouTube every Sunday morning (9–10am UK). We’re Jonathan and Heather — a pastor–evangelist and his wife — following Jesus with open Bibles, open doors, and hearts worn on our sleeves. We read Scripture, pray together, share communion and hear a short message — with space to join in via the live chat, or just listen quietly if

you prefer. We love God and we love people. We believe much of modern church has grown comfortable and half-asleep, and that it’s time to return to what the Word actually says and live it out with courage and obedience. Faith, for us, isn’t confined to a building. We take the gospel into everyday life — conversations with strangers, travel by motorbike, and lives lived openly rather than tucked away. We believe Jesus is coming back for His Church. We believe God is not finished with Israel. And we believe the gospel still calls for a real response. If you’re hungry for truth, weary of religion, or longing for genuine Christian fellowship — you are very welcome to join us live on Sunday morning, or in our home. Private message for more details.

It's not about being good or nice, or even going to church. True Christianity is about being redeemed, bought back from sin. You can live a good life and still face hell, but with forgiveness and following the Lord, you can turn towards heaven.

Marriage is a serious promise, a vow before God. Even if you feel you married the wrong person, the commitment still holds weight. The focus shifts to making it work, because God is still present.

Discover the core difference: while other religions ask you to 'do' things for God, Christianity highlights that God has already 'done' it all. It's a message of grace, not works.

When was the last time someone approached you, a stranger, to share the gospel? It's rare, isn't it? Even living in a town of 50,000, the experience feels almost nonexistent for many. While some groups are active, genuine Christian witnessing seems to be a rare occurrence.

It's a common issue: mothers-in-law can create tension in a marriage. Some are overly protective of their sons, struggling to accept the new relationship. But husbands have a role too – honoring their mothers doesn't mean blindly following their demands, especially if it causes grief. It's about setting boundaries with love and wisdom.

Some days feel ordinary, others are filled with unexpected generosity. But when God's love enters the picture, everything changes. Witnessing 5,000 souls find salvation is nothing short of incredible.

The consequences are stark if you refuse to listen. The word is clear: those who don't heed the prophet will face utter destruction. Will you choose to listen?

If you're a Christian at work, your job isn't just about doing great work. You're there to show your colleagues the path to heaven. You might be the only Bible they ever read.

Imagine going to trial unprepared, like not reading the scriptures on marriage and divorce before making a decision. It's like defending yourself without any homework. 'It wasn't me' isn't a defense.
