Bramcote Old Church Tower The Tower Project: The project has centred on the restoration of the remains of the 13th century, grade II listed church tower.

The Tower Project: The project has centred on the restoration of the remains of the 13th century, grade II listed church tower and the respectful regeneration of the closed and deconsecrated graveyard. The site is the focal point within the centre of the village of Bramcote and is of historical importance locally.
'Friends of Bramcote Old Church Tower' began in 2004 to oversee the repair of this G

rade II listed building and in 2010 5 trustees were selected to form a Trust . The group is now also a registered charity.

Our annual Plant Sale is back and promises another wonderful afternoon for gardeners and plant lovers alike. Join us on Saturday 13th June from 12 noon to 4 pm in the car park of St Michaelโ€™s Church, Bramcote, where youโ€™ll find a lovely selection of plants ready to bring fresh colour, scent, and life to your garden.
Whether you are looking for summer bedding plants, something special for a quiet corner, or simply enjoy browsing and chatting with fellow garden enthusiasts, there will be plenty to discover.
Plant donations are always very welcome and help make the event a success. Donations can be brought along on the day, or you can arrange delivery or collection by calling Nottingham 9226782.
Come along, support the event, and take home something beautiful for your garden.

Our thanks to everyone who braved the chilly winds and came to our first Tea at the Tower of the new season โ€“ always a landmark in the calendar. The sun shone, even if it wasnโ€™t the warmest of May days, and it was lovely to discover that we now have a number of โ€˜regularsโ€™ who have the dates in the diary and meet up with their friends.
On the menu this time was apple cake (which turned out to be the star bake), Irish Brack, coffee and walnut cake, chocolate cake, cheese scones, fruit cake and gingerbread. Join us for an engaging and informative evening as BOCTT hosts a special talk by Jason Mordan, Senior Conservation Officer at Nottinghamshire County Council.
Following a short AGM, Jason will present โ€œThe Timber-Frame Buildings of Nottinghamshireโ€โ€”an introduction to some of the countyโ€™s most remarkable historic oak buildings. Discover their unique character, explore their fascinating heritage, and gain insight into the traditional techniques and technologies behind their construction.
Everyone is very welcome to attend, and refreshments will be available. Come along and enjoy a relaxed evening of local history in good company.

Easter Egg Trail 2026 โ€“ A Sweet Success
Our Easter Egg Trail has now finished, with 26 entries received โ€”
thank you to everyone who took part.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the lucky draw is Sanli, who has collected her ยฃ10 prize. Many congratulations to her.
It was lovely to hear from visitors during our other Easter event, Easter Fun Day, how much they enjoy the trails and look forward to them each year. Feedback like this means a great deal to our volunteers.
Our thanks go to everyone who helped organise and run the event, and to all who came along. We hope to see you again at future events.

Today is our Easter Fun Day event - please donโ€™t be put off by the road closure of Town Street between Church Street and Cow Lane. You should still be able to park on Church Street and walk up to the Tower.
And we have a lovely sunny day for the event ๐Ÿ™‚.

Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Day
Wednesday 8th April - 1 pm to 4 pm
Bramcote Old Church Tower, Town Street, Bramcote NG9 3DP
Join us for a fun afternoon of Easter activities with a range of games and activities for children to enjoy around the Tower grounds. There will be plenty to keep young visitors entertained throughout the afternoon, and some activities offer the chance to win a small prize.
> Admission is free, with small charges for some activities.
> Refreshments will also be available.
Bring the family along, enjoy the historic setting of the Tower, and take part in some Easter holiday fun.
