Yogiji Maharaj’s life was a journey of pure joy, humility and devotion. ✨

Through his tours across Africa and the UK, he inspired countless people to walk the path of satsang, seva and bhakti, spreading the message of peace, unity and Akshar-Purushottam upasana across the world.🌍

On this sacred occasion of Yogi Jayanti, we remember someone whose smile touched hearts globally and whose blessings continue to guide generations today. 🙏

On 26 April, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rt Hon Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and MP for Ilford North, to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Chigwell.

He joined us for darshan and spent time with our youth, learning more about the values and sense of community that the mandir fosters.

During his visit, he spoke about the importance of strong communities in creating a healthier society - highlighting how places like the mandir support both wellbeing and a sense of belonging. He also acknowledged the valuable contributions of British Hindus.

We thank Mr Streeting for taking the time to visit and engage with our community.

Last Sunday at Chigwell Mandir, our Kishores and Kishoris came together for the yearly Exam Mahapuja - praying for resilience, patience and strength for the testing time ahead. 💪
