Congratulations to parishioner Clare Apel on the awarding of an MBE!

Congratulations to Councillor Clare Apel who has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for her contribution to the voluntary sector and to holocaust education.

As a long serving and dedicated local councillor, Clare has made significant contributions to the wellbeing of Chichester residents. As a former Trustee of Stonepillow, Chichester Marks Holocaust Memorial Day and through her involvement with several charities over the last three decades, Clare is a true champion of Chichester.

To us at the Liberal Democrat’s, Clare is a stalwart of everything it means to care about your community. As Chair of Chichester District Council, and as a former Mayor, she stands out as someone who goes above and beyond for others.

Be part of our diocesan Adoremus group in London this October! The Catholic Church in England and Wales: bishops, priests and people from all Dioceses, will gather at St George's Cathedral, Southwark, and Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 10 October for a day of renewing and deepening devotion to our Eucharistic Lord

The day will include Mass, a Eucharistic Procession from Southwark to Westminster, a keynote address from Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe and Benediction.

Fr David Murphy is leading this Diocesan Pilgrimage!

Journey in prayer to Walsingham this autumn, joining people from across our Diocese at 'England's Nazareth' on our diocesan pilgrimage, 23-25 October.

The Shrine's Pilgrimage Theme 2026 'Mary, Cause of Our Joy,' calls to mind the saving actions of God, through Christ, in the Holy Spirit, that have brought joy to the Blessed Virgin, to the Church, and to humanity.

The only Mass in our parish today is at 11am on St Richard's School field.

Come and join us for Mass, a Eucharistic Procession, food, games and dancing!

On the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we celebrate that Jesus is truly with us in the Eucharist. He feeds and strengthens us, drawing us closer together. As we receive Him, we’re called to live like Him: sharing love, showing mercy and becoming His presence in the everyday moments of our lives.

Join us tomorrow at 11am for Mass on St Richard's School Field - with a chance to congratulate our First Holy Communion children, newly Confirmed teenagers and adults who entered the Church at Easter.

Mass will be followed by a Eucharistic Procession, lunch, games and dancing.

Bring something to sit on and something to eat afterwards - or for a donation, there will be food generously made by parishioners.

The 4 churches in our parish are coming together to celebrate Corpus Christi on Sunday 7 June. Come to Mass at 11am on St Richard's School field (just behind the Catholic church in Chichester in Cawley Road).
