The doors are open, the Cathedral is in bloom.

The Festival of Flowers 2026 (3–6 June) has begun, transforming Chichester Cathedral with over 50,000 blooms and more than 60 floral installations inspired by this year’s theme, Nature’s Embrace.

From large‑scale designs filling the Nave to intricate details throughout the building, the Cathedral has been reimagined through colour, creativity and craftsmanship, brought to life by florists, volunteers and makers from across Sussex and beyond.

Whether you’re returning or visiting for the first time, this is a moment to step inside and experience the Cathedral in a new way.
