In this document you will find a remarkable array of items and experiences which have been generously donated by members of the Parish

Come along to St Peter’s Church on Saturday 27th September when drinks will be served at 4:00pm (entry £5.00 for adults) ahead of the bidding which begins at 4:30pm.

If you can’t make it or in order to bid anonymously you can send a bid in advance by emailing [email protected]

Your email should state the lot you are interested in and the amount up to which you are prepared to bid (which must be at least the reserve or guide price indicated in the catalogue).

If someone bids more, you will be informed. The email bidding will stop at 1200 on 27th September

If you can then come along at 4:30pm to watch the bidding close and seal your final bid!

This promises to be a wonderful community event. Your support to help secure St Peter’s for future generations is most welcome.

Today we celebrate Michaelmas, the Feast of St Michael and all Angels with the Octagon Eucharist at St Peter's Church, Racton at 10:00 and Evensong on their Patronal festival at St Michael's Church, Up Marden at 5:30pm All welcome - festive refreshments will be served

We’re looking forward to welcoming people to The Octagon Parish harvest celebration at St. Mary’s Stoughton tomorrow. Following the Octagon Eucharist at 10:00am food will be served from 1200 to 1600 - all are welcome to come and enjoy the fruits of the 2024 harvest.

Lordington and Racton Gigabit broadband: Urgent Action needed before end of March.

I am please to inform residents that Lordington and Racton gigabit broadband has been approved. All eligible properties must now apply for vouchers before the deadline of 31st March 2022.

Each residential property or business will receive a voucher for £4000. The scheme costs £87099 so we need a minimum of 22 properties to apply . We have 31 properties listed so it is achievable but it is imperative that each of those signs up. Please be aware that unless we get a minimum of 22 properties before 31st March 2022 the scheme will not proceed. So please sign up without delay.

All Age Service at St Mary's Church, Compton
Sunday 20 February at 10 am

Jesus calms the storm

At this Sunday's All Age service we will explore the miracle of Jesus calming the storm and hear how Jesus is with us when we encounter difficulties in our lives. Drinks and cake will be served afterwards.

Our All Age services usually last for around half an hour and are less formal than our other church services. Children are welcome at all our services but our All Age services are designed especially with them in mind.
