Celebrate the Summer Solstice Festival at our Crooked Spire ☀️

Marking the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice Festival is taking place at the Crooked Spire on Saturday 20th June.

While the actual astronomical event is at 9:24am on Sunday 21st, you can join the festivities on Saturday 20th, for Chesterfield's own community celebration.

🎶 There'll be a variety of music from choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists performing throughout the day.

🍔 As well as delicious food and drink from selected local vendors.

Offering a fantastic, fun event lasting the whole day.

Mike and Helen’s recital was absolutely fab last Thursday and we’re so grateful for performing such a wonderful programme!🎶

The next recital will be this Thursday at 12:15 as usual, and will be performed by Tilly Green and Jamie Rogers (soprano and piano) 🎹

Many thanks to Lin Xu-Zhang for his excellent recital last Thursday of Elizabethan English and Romantic Austrian music.
Tomorrow, the church welcomes international recitalist and composer Ayako Fujiki to play a recital of Debussy and Ravel as well as her own work, at 12:15pm.

All are welcome and entry is free, with a retiring collection.
