At Candlemas, the first snowdrops lift their quiet white heads through frozen soil, fragile yet fearless. They bloom in winter’s shadow, whispering that spring is already on its way. In their small, luminous petals lives a promise: light returns, hope stirs, and even the coldest season cannot hold forever. May the quiet hope of snowdrops stay with you as the light grows stronger each day.

The Church is offering a full programme of Christmas services from those particularly suited to families with primary aged children (Messy Christingle, Crib/Nativity), to those suitable for all ages together (Crib Service, Christmas Morning Mass) and the old traditional favourites (Carols by Candlelight and Midnight Mass). We are also offering a ‘Blue Christmas’ service on the shortest day this year for those who find that the joy of Christmas celebrations doesn’t fit how they are feeling, for whatever reason.
These are in addition to our regular weekly Holy Communion services on Sunday and Wednesday at 10am.
Looking forward to seeing you, whether you've ever been to church or not. Try us out, no strings attached.

A prayer: "God, we thank you for life. We thank you for those who have lived with us and now, because of your goodness, live in a new way in a new place. Remove the fear of death in our lives and lead us to trust your Love. Thank you God for a Holy All Hallows Eve.”

Dr Michael Carter takes us through the history, traditions and celebrations of these holy days, and offers his tips on how to host your own authentic Halloween celebrations this year.

It's definitely a few degrees cooler in the shade of the mature trees in the churchyard, and there's a slight breeze 😊
