Alpha is a relaxed, 11-week series of group conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith in a welcoming, open environment. Each week, you’ll join a small group, watch a short film on a big question—like “Is there more to life than this?” or “Why and how do I pray?”—and then share your thoughts, if you’d like.
There’s no pressure, no preaching, and no cost. You can say anything or nothing at all. Everyone’s welcome—whatever your background, beliefs, or doubts.

What happens when an avowed agnostic begins searching seriously for answers about God, the universe, the human soul—and the resurrection of Jesus?

Join us at **St John’s Church, Walton** for a fascinating evening with **David Harper**, BBC TV antiques presenter and author of *The God Conundrum*.

David will share his remarkable journey from a non-religious upbringing to exploring Christianity, followed by a **talk and Q&A**.

Come along to our families lunch this Sunday

The final timetable is now out for the Nature Festival & Bioblitz on the 14th June!
There will be activities, walks, crafts, stalls and more on all day at the recreation ground where there will be a festival style village set up on the field with stalls and a central hub.

Bird box making, river dipping, bug hotel making around the recreation ground. With self guided trails around the village marked out to help us record as much wildlife as we can on the day. Competitions for children. Expert led walks for birds, butterflies and plants to help you learn about what is around you in the village.

And for those in Walton, the Acorn Community Garden will be hosting a picnic lunch and some activities in the afternoon.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible, and fingers crossed for sunshine 🌞 🤞
