We are a lively, friendly and growing church of about 70 people. We have a good number of children. People Matter to Us. You don’t need to know anything!

We have people of all ages attending Chesterfield Baptist Church, including those in their 20’s and 30’s. At Chesterfield Baptist Church we accept people as they are. Whatever your background, you are invited. our services are on Sunday mornings at 10.15 hours. You will be very welcome. Our Vision is to be:

Summer Challenges

Celebration of the Life of Gillian Knight.
Tuesday 28th July 2026 2:00 pm
Chesterfield Baptist Church, Cross Street, Chesterfield

Gillian faithfully served our church family for many years as both a Deacon and Treasurer. This service will be an opportunity to give thanks for her life, celebrate her faith, and remember the lasting impact she had on so many people.

Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a buffet and refreshments in the church hall, where photographs celebrating Gillian's life will be on display.

In keeping with Gillian's wishes, we encourage those attending to wear colourful & casual attire, nothing too sombre.
