We are thrilled to announce that from the 1st January 2022, Edge Ministries will be taking over Tupton Evangelical Church. It has been our privilege to serve God as stewards of the church for a number of years but we firmly believe that it’s the right time for fresh thinking and new ideas. The meetings with Carl Beech and Edge Ministries have been so constructive and God centred which has made this decision easy. It will be great to see the church as a community centred place of worship which is what it was always intended to be and is reflected in the original name, the New Tupton Christian Centre. We look forward to seeing Gods hand in the future of the church.

Unfortunately we have to cancel our light party on Sunday 31st October and our toddler group on Monday 1st November due to covid, we are really sorry for the late notice.

Following the latest advice from the government we are sorry to say that we have to close our food bank. Please take care and keep safe.

To all at Tupton Evangelical Church. It is with some regret that we have decided to cancel all church activity with immediate effect. This means that our Sunday service, including communion, Wednesday Bible study, Tuesday coffee morning and the Wednesday toddler group are all cancelled from today Wednesday March 18th.

The FOODBANK will remain open from 10.30-11.30 each Tuesday unless circumstances change. If anyone requires the food bank outside these times please call 07927 012879.

We remain confident that God is in total control and we can take reassurance and comfort from His Word but as church leaders we also have a responsibility to ‘shepherd our flock’ and it is with the best interests of those in the at risk categories that we are taking this action now.

We have monitored the actions and decisions of other local churches and are also reacting to the latest Government advice on social interaction and particularly on faith gatherings and have concluded that it is now appropriate to take this action.

We will continue to monitor the situation and look forward to opening our doors again soon. In the meantime please continue to pray for each other and our church. Care for those in need and look after yourselves.
