This Sunday at 10am we celebrate the Festival of Creation in Christ for the first time. Come and celebrate with us--the service will be about 1 hour and 10 minutes long, we sing traditional hymns with organ music using hymn books, all other words are printed in a service sheet to follow. There are readings from the bible, a thought for the day, prayers, and we share the Eucharist together (Mass, or Holy Communion). There is the option afterwards for hot drinks and biscuits.
This new Festival, assigned to the first Sunday in September each year, is one of the fruits of a growing ecumenical movement across churches worldwide and offers an opportunity for Christians to give thanks for God's creation and redemption of the world, to reflect on humanity's responsibility to care for the natural world and to pray for its renewal.
The title ‘Creation in Christ’ emphasises that creation is understood through the person and work of Jesus Christ: created through him, sustained in him and destined for renewal in him.

🎉 Congratulations to all the students getting their GCSE results today! Whatever's in that envelope, be proud of yourself — this has been a big couple of years, and you made it through.

But please remember — your results don't define you. They're not a measure of your worth, your talent, or what you're capable of. Some of you will be celebrating today, and some of you might be feeling disappointed, worried, or unsure about what's next. Wherever you land, know that this is just one moment in a much bigger story, and there are so many paths still ahead of you.

And for those who hold onto faith: God's love for you doesn't rest on a grade. You are loved unconditionally, today and every day. 💛

Well done for all your hard work. However today goes, be proud — and know that brighter things are still ahead. 🙌

🎉 Congratulations to every student collecting their A-level results today! Whatever those envelopes hold, take a moment to be proud of how far you've come and all the hard work it took to get here.
But please remember — your results are not your worth. They don't define your intelligence, your character, or your future. Some doors may open in unexpected ways, and other paths will reveal themselves in time. However today goes, you are so much more than a grade on a page.
And for those of us who hold onto faith: remember that God's love for you was never dependent on results, achievements, or anyone's approval. You are loved exactly as you are, today and always. 💛
Whatever this day brings, well done for showing up and giving it your all. The future is still wide open. 🙌
