Gracious Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts after the tragic incident at Big Church Festival. We lift to You every person affected those injured, those shaken, and especially the family and friends grieving the precious life that was lost. Surround them with Your comfort that goes deeper than words, Your peace that steadies trembling hearts, and Your love that never lets go.

Lord Jesus, You are close to the brokenhearted. Be close now.
Hold the churches involved, the volunteers, the medical teams, and all who responded with courage and compassion. Bring healing to those recovering, calm to those who witnessed distressing scenes, and strength to the wider Christian family who feel this loss.

Holy Spirit, breathe hope into the sorrow.
Where there is pain, bring Your gentle presence.
Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Where there is mourning, bring the promise of Your eternal light.

Father, even in moments we cannot understand, You remain our refuge and our strength. Keep us prayerful, keep us tender-hearted, and keep us united in love as we walk with those who are hurting.

In Jesus’ name,

Big Church Festival 2026 has been paused following a serious incident on site, and no further programme will take place today.

First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been directly impacted by the incident.

We understand this will be deeply disappointing for the thousands who have joined us at the festival.

We are working closely with the emergency services and relevant authorities. Further announcements will be made as more information becomes available.

We are grateful for the understanding, patience, and prayers of our community at this time.
