✨JESUS WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU✨

“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!"
(Psalm 139:16-17 NLT)

Some people are afraid to allow the Lord Jesus have His way in their lives. They think He'll change their dream; that dream they've so nursed all their lives; that picture they've painted for themselves. They feel He might lead them to become something they don't want, so they become apprehensive.

Well, the only people that think this way are those who don't know who Jesus is. And because they don't know Him, they can't trust Him. If you ever get to know who He is, you'd learn to trust Him. Think about it: all He ever wants is the best for you. Therefore, you can trust Him with your life. He's interested in everything about you. He loves you more than you love yourself. He has a plan for you, and that plan is to make you successful and joyful all the time.

He said in Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, _*"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."*_ No one else has this kind of plan for you. It also brings to mind His endearing words in 3 John 1:2, _*"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."*_ Think about that!

It's the reason He gave you His life, His righteousness, His glory, and His Name; so you can live transcendently above Satan, sin, sickness, disease, infirmities and death. Glory to His Name forever!

*Righteous Father, thank you for your unwavering love and perfect plans for my life. I trust you completely, knowing that your plans are to prosper me, give me hope, and secure my future. I choose to follow your guidance, confident that l'll always live a life of joy and fulfilment, in Jesus' Name. Amen !!!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

✨THE REAL MEDICINE✨

MONDAY 25TH NOVEMBER - 2024

_My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22)_

Notice what we just read; first, it says "...attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart...." How can you attend to God's words if you don't know them? That's why it's important to study, meditate, and act on the Word continually by the Spirit.

Secondly, it says, "For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." God's Word has the power to heal and deliver. His words are life and health to all your flesh. The Hebrew word for health here is "marpe," and it means cure or medicine; the Word has curative powers. That's why the King James Version uses the word 'health'; God's Word is medicine for your body.

If you have a problem with your body, like a health condition, and you meditate on God's Word, you'll be cured. God's Word is the real medicine—the universal, infallible panacea for any issue regarding your health. Through meditation, the real medicine enters your heart, your veins, your arteries, your muscles, your bones, effecting a cure, mending and perfecting all things.

This is the reason someone who's been diagnosed with cancer can get cured by meditating on the Word. The Word is a healer and a cleanser (John 15:3); it'll cleanse your blood; it'll purify and cleanse it of any kind of sickness, disease or infirmity. Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

It brings to mind Job 33:19-22 where the Bible describes the sufferings of a man in pain and weakness and how his suffering became so severe; his body had deteriorated and was at the precipice of death. But verse 23 in the Amplified Classic Translation revealed his hope; it says, "[God's voice may be heard] if there is for the hearer a messenger or an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him [how to be upright and in right standing with God]." God's voice—His Word—can be heard; when you hear it, it imparts faith to you; it brings you healing and makes you whole.

*PRAYER*
Thank you Father for your Word that brings healing and deliverance. Your Word is medicine to my body; my entire being—my organs, bones, veins, arteries, blood—are inundated by the Word. I walk in divine health and victory, because your Word is my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

*PRAYING FOR NEW CONVERTS*

Thursday, October 3rd.

_*Wherefore also we pray always for you...That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12).*_

It’s important for us to always intercede for those who may still be ignorant or yet to come to maturity in the things of the Spirit. It brings to mind the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 4:19, _*“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.”*_ He constantly prayed for them to become rooted and grounded in Christ. This is the will of the Father.

In his letter to the Christians in Colossae, he prayed a beautiful prayer of the Spirit, saying, _*"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding"*_ (Colossians 1:9). When you intercede for fellow Christians like this, you’re actually praying the will of God.

However, there may be things in those people's lives that may prevent God's actions from taking place or even His will from being manifested. It could be their ignorance, as Hosea 4:6 states, _*"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...,”*_ or even their wilful disobedience. For many new converts or those still growing in the Faith, spiritual priorities may not yet be clear. They may not fully appreciate the importance of attending church services or studying the Bible regularly.

In such cases, our intercession plays a pivotal role. By praying for them, we create the avenue for God to intervene in their lives, to open their hearts and minds to His truth and wisdom. When you pray this way, Christ takes root in their hearts, and they become synchronized with the perfect will of God. As an intercessor, you’re persistent; you keep praying that they walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in their knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).

Even now, spend some time to pray for new converts in your local church and around the world, that they be established in the Faith, doing the will of the Father, active in the work of the ministry, and bringing glory to God. Pray that they grow in the Word, firmly rooted and grounded inthe love of Christ, and that the Lord perfects His work in their lives for His glory. Amen.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I pray for those who are new in the Faith or struggling in ignorance, that they’ll be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I pray that Christ dwells richly in their hearts by faith, and that they walk worthy of you, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in their knowledge of you day by day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
