Tomorrow we have our 8am service of Holy Communion. At 10:30am there is a Family Eucharist, followed by a cake sale for the work of Macmillan Cancer Support. At 6:30pm it is Choral Evensong, and we welcome our preacher the Revd Sarah Batchelor, Rector of St John the Baptist, Chester, UK. After this there will be a quick visit to Pickles Chester!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Rector's Back-to-School Quiz. It raised £741 for church funds!
At the end of a highly competitive evening, Freddie and the Dreamers were tied with To Hull and Back, with Freddie and Co coming out on top with the tie-break question, taking home the prize and the honours!

Over 1,800 poppies have been made for our remembrance poppy cascade which will hang from the church this year. Yesterday, we began to sew them on to the netting. There is a chance to help with this on Wednesday at 2pm in St Mary's. All from the community are welcome to come and join in!
