THE REALITY OF RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).

There are those who preach reincarnation, claiming that after death, a person returns in another body, perhaps as an animal, bird, insect, or even another human. But this teaching is unscriptural. The Bible teaches resurrection, not reincarnation. Resurrection is life after death, but it’s the same person who’s brought back to life by God's power. That is the truth.

Reincarnation is a lie, a false doctrine, but resurrection is God's reality. It’s interesting how many believe in what they can’t prove. Christianity can be proven. The resurrection of Christ proves His deity. Romans 1:4 says He was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

That’s why His Name still has power today. Whatever He accomplished before He died, His Name continues to do today. The Bible says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Furthermore, the Bible says God has appointed a day of judgment, confirmed by the resurrection of Jesus Christ (read Acts 17:31).

The resurrection is the undeniable proof that the Lord Jesus is the appointed Judge. Believing in this truth excludes the idea of reincarnation. Some misunderstand the words of the Master about John the Baptist, calling him “Elijah.” He didn’t mean Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist; rather, He meant that John the Baptist came in the power and spirit of Elijah (Luke 1:13-17). If Elijah himself were to appear again, he would still be Elijah, not John.

The Bible also speaks of two witnesses who will minister in Israel during the last days, and many believe one of them will be Elijah, since he never died but was taken alive to heaven (2 Kings 2:11). When he appears, it will not be a reincarnation, but Elijah himself manifesting again according to God’s plan.

How about Moses? The Bible says he died and God Himself buried him (Deuteronomy 34:5-6). Yet, he appeared with Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration with the Lord Jesus (Matthew 17:1-3). That wasn’t reincarnation either; it was Moses in a glorified, transfigured body, demonstrating the resurrection power of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the assurance of eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ. I live in the reality of His resurrection power and look forward with joy to the glorious rapture of the Church and resurrection of the saints. Thank you for the truth of your Word that has made me free to live joyfully in the love, joy, peace, and dominion of your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, WEDNESDAY 11TH MARCH 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

TOPIC ✨APPLY FAITH WITH KNOWLEDGE✨

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee…(Hosea 4:6).

Observe the words of the prophet in our theme scripture; God didn’t say His people perish for the lack of faith but for the lack of knowledge. You can have all the faith in the world and still be defeated if your faith is applied in ignorance. Faith without knowledge is misdirected; it becomes unproductive. This is why the knowledge of God’s Word is so vital.

Consider the temptation of the Lord Jesus in the wilderness immediately after His baptism. Just before then, the Bible says, “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22).

But Satan, right afterwards, tempted Him, saying, “...If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread” (Matthew 4:3). The Lord Jesus had faith; He could have commanded the stones to become bread. But He applied knowledge. He understood that the voice behind the instruction wasn’t from God but from Satan. Therefore, He answered with the Word: “...It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

Again, Satan tempted Him, urging Him to jump off the pinnacle of the temple because “it is written” that angels would bear Him up. He misquoted scripture, but the Master, once again, knew the Word and recognized the misuse of scripture and replied, “...It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God” (Matthew 4:7).

This is why you must never walk in ignorance. You can’t walk with God without His light, and His light is His Word. Psalm 119:105 tells us, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Knowledge gives your faith direction, stability and effectiveness.

Without knowledge, even strong faith can be misapplied and lead to error. But with knowledge, you walk in dominion, victory and truth. Remember what the Apostle Peter, in his second epistle, said, "And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge" (2 Peter 1:5). Always apply your faith with knowledge.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the knowledge of your Word that fills my spirit and guides my faith. I refuse to walk in ignorance or be misled by the deceptions of the enemy. Through your Word, my faith is rightly directed, effectual and changing hopeless situations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH

NO SUBSTITUTE TO THE NEW BIRTH

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

There are people who think if their good works outweigh their bad works, then God would accept them. But it’s not about good works and bad works; it’s about your nature. Galatians 6:15 says, “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.” Being a new creature, with the life and nature of God is what determines your place with Him.

It’s for the same reason the Lord Jesus said, “You must be born again.” That wasn’t a denominational idea or a church doctrine. It’s your only access to eternal life. He said, “...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). In other words, that person can’t access, know or understand the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is already here in Christ Jesus, but you can’t be part of it until you’re born again.

John 3:6 says, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” This new birth is the recreation of the human spirit by the Holy Ghost through the Word of God. It’s not a religious experience; it’s the impartation of the life and nature of God into your spirit. That’s why the Lord said, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

There’s no alternative; it’s not a matter of choice or personal preference. If you’re going to be part of God’s Kingdom, you must be born again to experience the God-life and come into oneness with Him. It can’t happen any other way. Perhaps you’re reading this and you’ve never been born again, turn to the prayer of salvation page at the end of the book, say the words and mean them with all your heart. Right away, you’ll become a child of God with eternal life imparted to your spirit.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. I affirm that I’m born again, a new creature in Christ Jesus. I walk in the reality of the divine life and function in your kingdom of light, righteousness and glory. Thank you for making me one with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH

YOU’RE THE SOLUTION

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

No problem has ever existed before its solution was born. Always remember this! I’ve often said that problems gravitate towards their solutions. If the seed of a solution is in you, then the problem will come looking for you. That’s why certain challenges find their way to you; it’s because you carry the answer within you.

There may have been challenges you’ve faced in life; it’s because God ordained them for your victory and promotion. Don’t fear troubles and trials; they’re the springboard to your next and higher level of greatness and promotion. The Bible says, “...Count it all joy when you go through diverse tests” (James 1:2). Why? It’s because your victory is assured.

So, when you face challenges, say, “Dear Lord, thank you; I was born for this!” The Word declares, “...all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28) This means you can never be disadvantaged. This is the reality. 1 John 5:4 says, “whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.”

Anything born of God, whether it’s you, your words, your dreams, your vision, or your ideas, they overcome the world. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” That means you’re born of Him, fashioned in victory, and programmed for success. You’re not a victim but a victor.

You’re the answer, the solution the world is looking for. You were born to win, to reign, and to manifest the glory of God. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”; and that includes you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your glory and righteousness that radiate and manifest through me. Your Word is at work in me, and I’m walking in the light of my victory in Christ Jesus. I live above circumstances, knowing that all things work together for my good. I’m born of you, and I’ve overcome the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

🔴Some of you stay with your parents and you wake up whenever you like. When daddy or mommy is going out, they have to knock at your door to say, are you still sleeping? I wish you were with my dad, you'll wake up with a cane😀😀😀

🔴Every morning, knock at their door and say good morning to them. That's the right thing to do.

🔴I've seen people say, well, we never went to mommy's room or daddy's room in the morning. We never did. Whatever happened to you, you must learn it.

🔴If your mom has been the one cleaning her room, your mom after she gave birth to you many years ago she was cleaning before you were born, she was cleaning right after you were born, she cleaned all the time you were growing up and now you are grown up and your mom is still cleaning, something is wrong with you. What am i saying to you?, you can plan for your mother or your father to live a better life than what they met because of you.

📖Ephesians 6:2-3 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

🔴Honor your father and your mother, that it may be well with you, and that thou mayest live long on the earth.

🔴When you find things not well with your business, I mean, you are excellent, everything is okay, but things are always going up and down for you, go and check what is your relationship with your father or your mother? Go and find out. Maybe you don't know how to honor them. Maybe that is the problem.

🔴Your mother is talking, you are shouting back. For some of you, you control your mother and your father. When life starts telling you, you will know.

🔴Honor your father and your mother that it may be well with you.

🔴Don't talk back at them. If you don't agree with them, keep quiet. Let them say whatever they are saying. Then settle down and explain your part. If they still don't agree, you don't have to shout. Just keep in your heart what you know is right.

🔴But to start arguing with them, talking back, talking back, God will be angry with you. And you don't want God to be angry with you.

🔴The Bible says for us to be clothed with humility. Be clothed with humility. Wear it. Wear humility. Put it on.

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

YIELD YOUR MIND TO THE SPIRIT IN PRAYER ✨

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful (1 Corinthians 14:14).

Praying in tongues is one of the most powerful spiritual exercises you can engage in. It’s the language of the Spirit through which you utter divine mysteries. When you pray in tongues, your spirit communicates directly with God, bypassing the limitations of the natural mind.

However, your prayer becomes far more impactful and effective when your mind is engaged as you speak in tongues. Fix your attention on what you’re praying about. There may be the tendency for your mind to wander as you pray, but refuse the distractions and deliberately keep your mind focused on the Spirit.

As you do, He’ll flood your mind with visions, thoughts, and ideas. These may be revelations from God or creative insights that He inspires within you. He enables you to see possibilities, create godly imaginations, and bring divine realities into manifestation. So, always engage your mind in prayer to perceive what the Spirit is revealing. As He grants you visions, respond accordingly; that’s how you partner with Him to bring Heaven’s plans to pass on earth.

The Christian life is a walk in the Spirit. The Spirit-filled life is a life of rest, joy and victory. He keeps you strong, refreshed and full of faith. So, even in prayer, depend on His guidance, follow His instructions, and yield to His influence. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, as I pray in the Spirit, you reveal divine mysteries to me, and I create and shape circumstances in line with your perfect will. Thank you for synchronising my spirit with your will, causing me to function in divine wisdom and power, and walk in your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DOMINION OVER ADVERSITY*

*Tuesday, January 20th*
*Pastor Chris*

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small (Proverbs 24:10).*_

As Christians, we don’t faint in the day of adversity; we win, we reign, we prevail over every storm. Your strength is not small because the Lord Himself is your strength: _*“God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect”*_ (2 Samuel 22:33).

1 John 4:4 _*“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”*_ You hail from God; therefore, your strength is of God: _*“Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God”*_ (2 Corinthians 3:5 AMPC).

Can you see why you can never be hamstrung, defeated, or disadvantaged? Stay ever conscious of who you are in Christ, especially of your righteousness in Him. That consciousness produces a divine audacity in the face of adversities; you walk right over them! You consume challenges like bread.

When you know you’re righteous, nothing and no one can intimidate you; be it Satan, guilt, condemnation, or adversities. That’s because you understand that you stand in Christ’s stead and function in His Name. That consciousness gives you the audacity to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, knowing that nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Therefore, dominate sickness, demons and death. When you pray, do so with the confidence and assurance that you’re being heard. Speak with authority. Let your life exude the confidence of divine authority. Hallelujah!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for making me righteous and granting me boldness through the Holy Spirit. You’re my strength, and I reign in life by the power of righteousness. I live fearlessly, walking in divine authority and confidence. My words are filled with power, and my actions are full of grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
