🩵 Volunteers’ Week 2026 🩵
Yesterday marked the beginning of Volunteers’ Week, an annual UK-wide campaign running from 1st–8th June, celebrating and recognising the incredible contribution of volunteers across our communities.
As a church, we are blessed by so many people who generously give their time, talents, energy, and care to help keep church life running smoothly. From welcoming people through our doors, leading worship and children's activities, arranging flowers, serving refreshments, supporting community outreach, maintaining our buildings and grounds, and so much more – every act of service makes a difference.
Volunteers’ Week, launched in 1984, has been celebrating volunteers for over 40 years, providing an opportunity to thank those who give so much of themselves for the benefit of others.
This week, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every one of our volunteers, past and present. Your dedication, kindness, and faithfulness help our church to flourish and enable us to serve God and our community in countless ways.
We look forward to celebrating all of our wonderful volunteers throughout the week. 👏
