Thank you to all those who were able to attend the church service this morning - it was very much appreciated. The Archdeacon said he very much enjoyed his visit to St Mary’s. We are getting nearer to being able to advertise for a new vicar so we hope it will not be too long before we have a new incumbent 🤞🏻

Just a quick reminder that the Archdeacon of Chester, The Venerable Dr Michael Gilbertson will be leading our Easter Sunday service on 5th April at 11.15am. It would be most appreciated if you are able to join us. Refreshments served from 10.45am.

Visiting Chester Cathedral today, I discovered that the new West Door glass etching has been installed - which includes an etching of a snowdrop photograph submitted by St Mary’s. All the churches in the deanery were asked to submit an image that was special to their church and we selected a photo of a snowdrop kindly taken by Coddington resident Alistair Campbell. There is an interactive screen near the door where you can search for St Mary’s and find where you can see the image. Next time you are in Chester and you have the time please take a look. Helen
