The Book of Revelation often leaves people with more questions than answers, especially in its interpretations over the years (such as in the current Threads exhibition). But what does Revelation have to say in the 21st Century and what can we learn from how it has been interpreted in the past, not least through the Arts?

Join us for a fascinating symposium led by Professor Paul Middleton (University of Chester, and Canon Ecumenical at Chester Cathedral) and Dr Siobhan Jolley (University of Manchester) for a full day symposium 'Apocalypse Now: The Book of Revelation in the 21st Century' exploring Revelation.

Thursday 4 June from 9.30am

There are still a few places available on our Children's Weaving Workshops on Thursday and Friday this week! Come along for a hands-on weaving workshop where children can discover the ancient craft of weaving, and to create something beautiful of their own.

Led by Mother Anne-Marie, children will learn the basics of weaving using a range of colourful materials, exploring how threads can tell stories just as they do in Jacqui’s extraordinary silk panels.

Each child will leave with their own woven piece to take home as a keepsake.
