THANK YOU!

Our celebration last night marked the end of the Alpha Course (for now). I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came or helped at any of the sessions. Personally, I have loved getting to know each of you more. I hope that through Alpha you know more of who God is and how amazing His gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ) is. This is ONLY THE START of the journey with God.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

GRACE, PART ONE

Join us tomorrow night in Refuse at 7pm as we explore what it means to be accepted, approved and loved by God. The idea of God's grace is central to the Christian faith. Have you come across the idea of grace before? What do you think we need in order to be accepted by God? See you tomorrow!

HOW AND WHY SHOULD I READ THE BIBLE?

We are in Refuse again tomorrow night at 7pm, looking at the Bible. What is your experience of the Bible? What difference would it make to your life if you believed God wrote a book and told you what life was all about? See you tomorrow night!

WHY AND HOW DO I PRAY?

We are at Refuse again tomorrow night at 7pm to look at the topic of prayer. Even people who don't believe in God will sometimes pray. What's your experience of prayer? Why do you think God wants us to pray?

Thanks again to everyone for last night. Fantastic night of understanding faith more together and eating tasty food together! Thanks to all the helpers who make it happen. Excited for next week, where we will be looking at prayer. Love to you all :)

Ps. Just a reminder that on Saturday 24th November we have an "Alpha Away Day" in Durham, which lasts most of the day. Lifts can be provided. More info to come.
