St Mary and St Cuthbert Parish Church, Chester-le-Street. Welcome to St Mary's and St Cuthbert's;

Our aim is to be a community of Christians who worship God and make a difference to people's lives.

We would love to meet you! We are a vibrant Church of England Church in Chester le Street with lots going for all ages each week. You would be very welcome to join us for one of our services, events or activities. On a Sunday morning we have services at 8am, 9.30am, 11am and 6pm. Each has a different style of worship. There is also a Holy Communion services on a Thursday morning at 10.45am. Alongs

ide the services, the parish centre is open everyday, with a cafe open Monday - Friday from 10am-1pm as well as a wide range of activities. If you are looking to use the church for a baptism (christening), a wedding or a funeral, then this can be booked in through our office in the parish centre. Our subject tomorrow is 'Pastor'. As elements of political life in many countries focus on 'things' God calls us to focus on people and their needs.

Our theme tomorrow is 'Evangelism'. God gives gifts to people to help His Kingdom grow. Evangelism isn't really about numbers. An evangelist is seeking to help people have good spiritual, physical and mental health. That is God's will for us.

Prayer is part of Goð' health plan for the universe. God wants to hear us pray as a community.

It is our Table Top Sale and Cafe this Saturday 10am-1pm in the Parish Centre. Lot's of things to buy and a chance to enjoy some wonderful home made food. It would be great to see you there.
