We're in the early stages of putting together a weekly group for children aged 8-12 years. This is likely to use active games as a starting point for exploring faith in Jesus. It may include other activities too. We expect this group to take place weekly during term-time at Great Lumley Methodist on Friday evenings (perhaps 6:30-8:00pm). We'll be inviting children who are part of our churches, those who have attended occasional activities and the wider community.

We've got a first meeting of possible team members on Wednesday 2nd September at 7pm at Great Lumley Methodist (upstairs room). If anyone would like to join this meeting, or find out more, please contact me. We'll share information about how children can join us in due course!

14th September @ 7pm - People's Emergency Briefing

The District Eco Group are hosting a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing on the Climate and Nature Crisis. Originally a live event for MPs at Methodist Central Hall, the people's briefing is a summary with excerpts from the key scientists and environmentalists who spoke on the day.
