We’ll be meeting on Tuesday 16th April 2024 at St George’s at 9.30am. There’s lots of parking behind the church. We’re located (roughly) opposite the old GE site on the White Lion Road, and next door to Chiltern Heights.
We meet at 9.30 - 11am in the hall at St George’s, Little Chalfont. Newcomers and latecomers are very welcome, as are preschoolers and little ones.

We all respond to moments of national mourning differently. If you would like a quiet space to pause, pray, and leave a message of condolence, St Michael’s and St Mary Magdalens Latimer and Flaunden are open with books of condolence ready for use.

Our services this Sunday (timings can be found on the church calendar) will be opportunities to gather and remember the grace of our late Queen, and the example of faithful service she gave to us all, as we worship the Great High King to whom she dedicated her life.

Mark Greene has written a helpful reflection here. https://licc.org.uk/resources/obituary-queen-elizabeth-ii-beacon-of-grace/

We’re looking forward to facilitating ‘When Dreams Change’, a new course developed by Naomi and Heather Graham at .

The course explores what happens when dreams change, and how we process and adjust to our child’s additional needs. As part of exploring dreams changing, we will use the story of Joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat.

The course will run during our Harbour sessions on 25/1, 8/2, 15/2 and 8/3. Don’t worry if you can’t make a session, we’ll try and find a way for you to catch up. Email [email protected] for more info, or comment below.

The course, and The Harbour, are free.

Please be prepared to wear a mask to all indoor events in the Chenies Benefice as per the latest government and Church of England guidelines.

For further confirmation, please see the C of E guidance (bottom of page 2) where it states, “Face coverings are currently mandatory on public transport and in a range of indoor venues including places of worship. While there are exemptions, outlined below, this is a legal requirement. Coronavirus (COVID-19) can spread predominantly by droplets and perhaps aerosols (which can linger in the air) from coughs, sneezes and speaking. The best available scientific evidence is that, when used correctly, wearing a face covering can reduce the spread of coronavirus droplets and aerosols in certain circumstances, helping to protect others.
Because face coverings are mainly intended to protect others, not the wearer, from coronavirus (COVID-19) they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing”.

Newcomers, latecomers and toddlers are very welcome.

We’re going to be discussing the topic of coping with sensory challenges (other subjects also welcome!).

Please bring a warm coat, as we’ll need to ventilate, and in line with other local groups, we’ll be asking everyone to wear a mask, unless exempt.
