Congratulations to all our young people who recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

As they were strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we pray that they will continue to grow in faith, courage, and love, becoming joyful witnesses to Christ in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities.

We also thank their parents, sponsors, catechists, and all who accompanied them on this important step of their faith journey.

Congratulations to all our First Holy Communion children who recently received Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for the very first time.

This is a joyful and important milestone in their faith journey, and we keep them, their parents, families, and catechists in our prayers. May their love for Jesus continue to grow each day and may they always find strength, peace, and joy in His presence.

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare and support our children for this special occasion.

๐ŸŒŸ Something exciting is coming to the Archdiocese of Cardiff-Menevia this summer!

From 19 June to 5 July, we are partnering with CCO (Catholic Christian Outreach) for a three-week Diocesan Mission - stretching from Aberystwyth to Hereford.

Twelve CCO missionaries will be joining us, bringing with them a practical and prayerful approach to evangelisation called Intentional Accompaniment - walking with people on their faith journey, just as Jesus walked with the disciples on the road to Emmaus.

There are events open to everyone across the Diocese, including:๐Ÿ“ Nightfever Cardiff - Friday 19 June, 7pm-10pm at Cardiff Cathedral
๐Ÿ“ Day of Prayer across the Diocese - 24 June
๐Ÿ“ Learn to Pray at Belmont Abbey - 27 June
๐Ÿ“ Young Adults Day in Cardiff - 5 July

Archbishop Mark says: "I pray that their time with us will be richly blessed. May they help all of us grow in confidence in being more courageous missionary disciples."This mission is for every Catholic in Cardiff-Menevia - whatever your age or background. Come along, bring a friend, and share this with your parish community. ๐Ÿ™

Parish Quiz!
There was great excitement and fabulous teamwork at the Parish Quiz Night last Friday. Quiz Master Francis delivered searching questions on a wide range of subjects, whilst Amanda served warming soup and delicious cakes.
It was a tight finish with team โ€˜Liz has the Penโ€™ just one point ahead of team โ€˜The Organists Entertainโ€™. A total of ยฃ380 was raised for church funds.
A big thank you to Francis, Amanda, John, Anne and Aga and to everyone who took part.
Watch out for the next Parish Quiz Night, coming in the Autumn!

Please pray with joy and thanksgiving for all the children who have received their First Holy Communion, and for all who have been confirmed today.
May the Lord continue to guide them in faith, fill them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and keep them always close to Him throughout their lives.

As in previous years, we warmly invite all parishioners to join us in celebrating our First Holy Communion children, those recently confirmed, and their families.
Please come to St Mary's Primary School Hall after the 11.00am Mass for tea, coffee, and a slice of cake as we mark this special occasion together.

Corpus Christi โ€“ The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Today the Church celebrates Corpus Christi โ€” a joyful feast reminding us of the precious gift of the Eucharist.

At every Mass, Jesus gives Himself to us in Holy Communion, nourishing us with His love and strengthening us for the journey of life. The Eucharist is the heart of our faith and the centre of our parish family.

Corpus Christi reminds us not only to receive Christ with reverence, but also to carry His love into the world through kindness, compassion and service to others.

May this beautiful feast renew our love for the Mass and deepen our awareness of Christโ€™s presence among us each day. โœจ๐Ÿ™
