Getting ready for our 8 o’clock.

God who sees us, hear our prayer.

For peace in Ukraine and Iran; for those threatened by the far right and anti-migrant hatred; for communities facing fire, volcanic ash and climate breakdown; and for all who are frightened, grieving or overlooked.

Teach us to call people by name, to listen before we judge, and to recognise the full humanity of those it is easiest to exclude. Amen.

It was lovely to welcome you back to Little Pips this week! 🌱

We’re trying something new and reducing our standard session price to **£2.50**, helping Little Pips remain accessible to families across our local community. If you’re able and would like to help support the group, you can choose our **£5 supporter price** instead.

And if paying at all is difficult at the moment, please don’t worry — you and your little ones are always welcome. 💛

Little Pips is back this week! 🧸☕️

Join us on Friday from 9.30am for toys, play, conversation, songs and refreshments.

Little Pips is for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. There’s no need to book in advance, and you don’t need to be part of the church. Just come as you are. We’d love to see you.

Hello, September! 🍁🍂

A new school year is beginning, familiar groups are returning and Pip & Jim’s is filling up again with conversation, creativity, prayer and rather a lot of coffee.

This week you’ll find Community Café, chair yoga, games and crafts, Pilates, our Veterans’ Breakfast, Little Pips, a vintage clothing sale and, of course, worship.

Whether you come every week, occasionally or have never stepped through our doors before, you are very welcome here.

We’re praying especially this week for children and young people beginning a new term, and for all the teachers, support staff and families accompanying them. May there be courage, curiosity, kindness and joy in the weeks ahead.

Some of us in the office are considering switching to powdered oat milk for our coffee to reduce our environmental impact. Has anyone tried it? And, most importantly, does it taste good?

What eco-friendly swaps have you made that you haven’t regretted?

(Don’t worry—Sunday coffee and coffee at our other events won’t be affected!)

A change of stalls for our choir!

A wonderful evening singing Evensong at Worcester Cathedral — making music together in this extraordinary space, and joining in the long tradition of prayer and song that fills it.

My three-year-old was completely transfixed during the anthem — which might be the best review of the evening.

Our journey there was rather longer than planned following an accident on the M5. As we eventually arrived safely, we were very conscious that for others the evening will have been much harder. We hold all those involved in the accident, and those who came to their aid, in our prayers.

Huge thanks to our choir and everyone who made the trip possible.

Small hands, big imaginations — and a church full of colour.

Some of the wonderful creations from our Stay & Play families, now brightening up the church. We love seeing this space filled with creativity and joy.
