1st Charlton Kings Boys Brigade Charlton Kings Boys Brigade is a boys group for ages 5 - 18 years. They are split into 4 sections, Anchors, Juniors, Company and Seniors.

We meet at Charlton Kings Baptist Church on Friday evenings.

Wow! What a week on Gloucestershire Boys Brigade Camp. A jam packed week of Old Skool Arcades, Lasertag, Splashdown waterpark, Speedway with Poole Pirates Speedway, Bowling, football, Cricket, TaskMaster and even Volleyball. A massive thank you to Balcarras School for letting us use their minibus and Arthur Spriggs Van Truck & Bus for our camp equipment logistics. Bring on camp 2027!

This afternoon, some of our boys took part in the Battalion Juniors Sports Afternoon. Although not the usual sports events, they had great fun axe throwing & shooting nerf guns! With the help of one of the boys from 1st Tewkesbury, we won three events & came second in another.
A really good competition which the young people thoroughly enjoyed.

Anchors and Juniors

This Friday, we will be heading down to the ford for some fishing.

The boys will need wellies or water shoes and a towel. If they have a fishing net, please bring it along although we do have some available.

We will meet at the church as normal and walk down together. They may also want to leave a spare pair of shoes and trousers at the church, and BB tops should be worn.

Saturday afternoon saw 40+ anchor boys attend the anchor sports day. Races, archery and lots of playtime were enjoyed by all.
