500 years ago, William Tyndale's English translation of the New Testament was published. As part of the anniversary celebrations and in conjunction with our partner Congregational churches in the South West Midlands Area, we are reading through the whole New Testament. Our 'chunk' is John's gospel, Acts of the Apostles and Paul's letter to the Romans. A powerful trio.

It's still the summer holidays and this is a reminder that there is only a morning service at Highbury on 16th August. Come and join us at 10.30am, to celebrate communion together.
Next week we have only evening service at 6.00pm.
And don't forget our Thursday morning cafe, 10.15-11.30am - fresh coffee and home made cakes!

A stained glass window style picture made as a group during Messy Church. In Exodus 3 God tells Moses to lead the people out of Egypt. When Moses asked who he should say had sent him, God replied “I am”. “I am who I am.”

God used a bright flame in a burning bush to get Moses' attention, and he went on to shine God’s love to a whole nation. This picture is on the window shelf at Highbury. See it as a reminder of Gods’s name but also asks a question.
