We welcome Archdeacon Katrina next week both to preach at our Pentecost Mass and to chair our Annual Parochial Church Meeting where we will have an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the parish during our "interregnum journey." The young people in our Starters group are spoiling us at the moment. Last time they fed us literally with marshmallow sheep buns on Good Shepherd Sunday. Today they fed us spiritually with "Come Holy Spirit Come" coloured bookmarks that tied in with the "Road To Pentecost" theme of this week's readings (John 14: 15-21). Mine's been put to use already 🙂 ✝️

Here's this week's notice sheet. Christian Aid Week is upon us and as well as the coffee morning on Wednesday there'll be a chance to donate during our post-Mass coffee. It's electoral roll check time, and we're all welcome at All Saints on Thursday evening for their Ascension Day event. ✝️

I am pleased to report that the first Cake Sunday of our "interregnum journey" was of its usual exceptional standard. As noted in yesterday's post, this was both a figurative and literal taster for the Christian Aid Week coffee morning here a week on Wednesday, and there are now flyers for this in the church foyer 🍰🧁✝️
