After some small structural repairs to the brickwork around the Stain-glass window. We are pleased to announce that from Monday (17 August), the church will, once again, be OPEN every day, except (ironically) Sundays when we don’t have a service.

This Sunday, the church will be open for our Eucharist service at 4 pm. It will be led by Revd Ken Dunstan and our curate Karen Eyles.

Everyone is welcome, so please come along.

Family Service Cancelled

Unfortunately the church will now also be closed for services and the Family Service on the 2nd August is cancelled.

As soon as we can have the necessary repairs carried out, we will resume services.

We are sorry to say that due to continuing structural concerns, we are having to keep the church building closed between services..

This is a precautionary measure and will be in place until the church building is assessed by a structural engineer.

The church will be open again for our next service on August 2, at 10.30 and will be led by Jenny Pratt, Lay Reader at St Leonard’s in Southminster.

What a last few days it has been! Sunny and hot weather, not a bad start to summer.

Tomorrow, June 21, is not just Father’s Day, it’s also the longest day of the year. So after tomorrow, the nights start getting longer, as we start the long procession towards winter. 😊

Also tomorrow, the church will be holding its monthly Eucharist service, which will be led by our Priest in Charge, Revd Suzie Fryer.

The service will be at 4pm and one thing we can almost guarantee, the church will not be cold.

All are welcome to the service, whether you take communion in the Church of England, elsewhere or not at all.

We hope to see you there tomorrow at 4pm. 👍

This Sunday (17 May) is an important one in the life of our church.

After our Eucharist service at 4pm, which will be led by our Priest in Charge, Revd. Suzie Fryer, and Curate, Karen Eyles, we will be holding our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). We will be looking back on the past year and reflecting on what happened in 2025. We will be discussing our finances, as well as the work carried out to save our beautiful church meeting.

This is a chance for all North Fambridge residents, whether you attend the church or not, to quiz us about what is happening with your church.

The APCM will get underway at approximately 5 pm, depending on what time we finish the service. We look forward to seeing you there.

Easter is here again! Time to remember and reflect on the death of Jesus Christ today (Good Friday) and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

On Sunday, the church will be holding a Family Communion Service at 10.30 am, which will be led by Revd. Ken Dunstan.

But before that, let’s have a little bit of fun.

If you have a walk around the village this weekend, see if you can find a ticket with one of the pictures below. If you do, pick it up and bring it to church on Sunday morning and you will receive a little treat.

To maximise participation, there is only one ticket per person and each will receive a small treat. The presentation will take place during the morning service.

Have fun and hopefully we’ll see you Sunday.

This Sunday is Mothering Sunday. In times gone by, this was the day where you attended your’Mother Church’: the church you In more recent times, this is the day when we honour our mothers for all they do or have done for us.

As far as your poster is concerned, his Mother Church is about 450 miles away in Scotland: a good 7 hours drive.

So rather than setting off at 3.30 am, your poster will be at Holy Trinity Church, North Fambridge on Sunday at 10.30 am.

This will be a service for all the family, especially mothers, all of whom will receive a small but special gift to mark the occasion.

So please come along on Sunday morning, 15 March, at 10.30 am. We look forward to seeing you there.

If you were thinking about coming to church tomorrow morning… Don’t!

We are changing things a bit this month.

Tomorrow (March 1st) our service will be a Eucharist (communion) service at 4 pm, with our vicar, Revd Suzie Fryer.

On Mother’s Day (March 15th), there will be a special family service at 10.30 am.

It would be great to see you all at both services but on the 15th, there will be a little gift for all mothers present.

Springtime is coming! OK, some may dispute that at the moment but soon, very very soon, spring will arrive. And in spring, we at Holy Trinity start to focus towards, Lent, Mothering Sunday, and Easter.

So, up-and-coming services will begin to look towards this time.

February 15 (This Sunday), will be our usual Eucharist service, with Revd Suzie Fryer at 4pm.

After that, things start to change…

Sunday March 1 will now be a Eucharist service at 4 pm.

This will allow us to celebrate Mothering Sunday with a service for the whole family at 10.30 am on March 15.

What a great time to reacquaint yourself with your local church. So if you are able to come, it will be great to see you.

And remember that the church continues to be open during the day, Monday to Saturday, for quiet, personal reflection and prayer.
