Widford Parish Widford Parish covers two of the five Churches in the South West Area of Chelmsford Essex. St. Marys The Parish covers two Churches:

St. Mary's and CHS.

Widford Parish is located in South West Chelmsford, Essex. Mary's, a Victorian built and traditional Church, which meets at 9:30am on Sundays and Church of the Holy Spirit (CHS), a more modern and contemporary church building, which meets at 10:30am

Both Churches run Sunday Schools with scripture specific activities for children to do, making them more invol

ved in the service. Morning Prayer and Holy Communion run alternatively each week at St. On the second Sunday of the month CHS have an All Age Service, whereas this is held at St. Mary's on the fourth Sunday of the month. If there is ever a fifth Sunday in the month, we join at either one of our Churches, or St. Luke's, St. John's or St. Michaels, the other Churches in the South West Area

Hope Cafe and soft play 9am-12pm
Prayers (1st Mon of month, 7pm, CHS)

Tuesdays:
Hope Cafe and soft play 9am-12pm, Parish Centre
Homework Club, 3:15-5pm, Westlands Lounge, CHS

Wednesdays:
Morning Prayer 9:15am, CHS
Lunch Club 1pm, Parish Centre
Wednesday Fellowship, 2:15pm, Parish Centre/ CHS


Thursdays:
Widford Waddlers, 10-12 noon, Widford Village Hall (Widford Road)
Homework Club, 3:15-5pm, Westland's Lounge, CHS
Knit n Natter, 7-9, Parish Centre (1st thurs of month)

Fridays:
Craft Club 3:15pm-4:15pm (school years 3-6, Parish centre)

Saturdays:
Youth Group, 7-8:30pm, CHS (ages 10+)

Sundays:
9:30am St Mary's, London Road CM2 8TE
10:30am CHS, Forest Drive, CM1 2TS
4pm for 4:30pm, United MMU Evening Service, venue see Churchtalk (2nd Sunday of each month)
10am, United MMU Morning Service (5th Sunday)
