Church at Car Boot Sale

Church at Car Boot Sale Chelmsford Churches working together at the Boreham Car Boot Sale Church at Car Boot Sale is an initiative of eight congregations in the Chelmsford Area.

We have a prominent stand at the Boot Sale, at which we sell hot drinks. We also offer a listening ear and if needed, prayer. Our aim is to take the Church to where a large number of people are gathered on a Sunday morning, form relationships and help people to know Jesus Christ.

Our 2017 season at the car Boot Sale is now well and truly over. A tremendous thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way; from those who have purchased a great coffee!... to all who gave so generously to get us back up and running after our van was stolen in March.

We will be taking a winter break now and very much hope to be back with you around April 2018.

We don't like to mention Christmas quite so early, but do have a great one!... and do also remember the person who is not only the reason for the season but the One who is our inspiration and motivation for what we do .. Jesus Christ, Saviour and Son of God.

Thank you all and thank you Jesus!

Weather permitting, Sunday 15th October will be the last visit of Church at Car Boot Sale to Boreham this eason.

Come join us for one last coffee, chat and even to pray from 7am to noon.

We will then take a break and look forward to return at the start of the 2018 Boot Sale season, about April.

A huge thank you to all who have supported us in so many ways - many so generous in getting us back up and running after the theft of our van in March.

Not least we give thanks to Jesus Christ, our God and our friend, who inspires us to go out with the Good News of His Kingdom, to the highways and by-ways and even Boot Sales!

We're approaching the end of the Car Boot season, although weather permitting, we will be there a few more weeks.

We have had a problem with one of our coffee machines, which resulted in a total breakdown last Sunday - we apologise for any who had to queue as the remaining one struggled to cope.

Do pray the machine is fixed for this coming week and we look forward to saeeing you from 7am to noon
