This week in collaboration with the Ideas Hub Chelmsford we marked with a coffee morning at Chelmsford Cathedral - bringing around 35 – 40 people together over cake, conversation, and a genuine spirit of welcome.

This year's theme is Courage: the courage of those who have journeyed far to find safety, and the courage of a community choosing to reach out across difference.
Bishop Guli has written a powerful reflection on what Refugee Week calls us to as Christians:

🐺 A musical adventure is coming to the Cathedral!

On Saturday 27 June, Chelmsford Cathedral presents Peter and the Wolf - a fun, family performance of Prokofiev's much-loved musical fairy-tale, reimagined for the Cathedral organ by Chelmsford Cathedral’s Assistant Director of Music, Samuel Bristow, with storyteller Mike Dodsworth guiding families through the adventure.

Children sit on mats in the Nave and are encouraged to join in, and there's a craft station before each show where they can make their own puppet to bring into the performance. The perfect introduction to classical music for young listeners.
Two showings: 11.00am (doors 10.30am) and 2.00pm (doors 1.30pm)
