It's a Soft Play week at Open Door Baby & Toddler Group this week. So as well as the soft play toys there will be a free lunch for those who are able to stay behind.

On Thursday evening the churches of the town gathered to pray for our local community. At one prayer station we were reminded of all the ways that the church is being a light to those around us.

On Wednesday evening the churches of SWF will be joining together to pray for our community as part of 'Thy Kingdom Come 2026'. Join us from 7.30pm at the Evangelical Church (85 Hullbridge Road, CM3 5LJ). Everyone Welcome.

Today marks Day 1 of Thy Kingdom Come 2026. ✨

As this year’s global wave of prayer begins, we invite you to join us over the next 11 days in praying, ‘Come Holy Spirit’, asking God to renew us by His Spirit and help us share His love with the Five people we are holding in prayer.

Let us pray that the Spirit will make us effective witnesses to our Five loved ones. 🙏

Oh Lord, never suffer us to think that we can stand by ourselves and not need You.

Open Door Baby & Toddler Group is running on Tuesday morning from 9.45am. No need to book, just come along on the day.

Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.

We are invited to pray from 14th -24th May (Ascension to Pentecost). Prayer booklets are available from church this weekend.

We are also invited to join with the other SWF churches to pray together for our community on Wednesday 20th May, 7.30pm at South Woodham Evangelical Church.

OPEN DOORS UK are holding an evening at Danbury Mission on Wednesday 29th April (7.45pm)

An opportunity to look deeper into the faith of our persecuted brothers and sisters and how we can best serve them and our God by our constant support and encouragement.

Mussie from Eritrea will be sharing his story

The evening is free and no booking is required and the event will commence at 7.45pm when refreshments will be served.
