We welcome the High Court's recognition that the proscription of Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act was unlawful. We call for the immediate lifting of the proscription order which remains in place.

Today, International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, Quakers in Britain join more than 275 organisations in a Joint Appeal.

The appeal calls upon on governments to take advantage of today’s UN High Level Plenary Meeting ‘to announce concrete plans to prevent nuclear war, shift nuclear weapons budgets and investments to strengthen the UN, advance peacekeeping and conflict resolution, accelerate steps to protect the climate, and meet human and economic needs as required under Article 26 of the UN Charter’.
