This morning the band played the beautiful arrangement of Grace Alone, arranged by Craig Woodland. 🎶✨

A wonderful piece with a message that reminds us that through every season we are sustained by grace and encouraged to place our trust in God. Thank you to all of our musicians for sharing this special item during this morning’s meeting. ❤️

What a lovely meeting led by our good friends Lieutenant Colonels Mark and Linda Herbert from the William Booth Training College. It was a real blessing to share such a wonderful morning of worship together.

Following the meeting, our band headed down the High Street for a time of outreach, sharing music and fellowship with the community. What a joyful morning had by all! 🎶❤️

🏃‍♂️🎉 Congratulations to Chris Boughton! 🎉🏃‍♂️

A huge well done to Chris for completing the London Marathon on Sunday—what an incredible achievement! 💪👏

Chris shared this heartfelt message after the event:

*"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported and encouraged me with my marathon effort and for your generous and kind donations. Your support has meant so much.

With gift aid I have, to-date, been able to raise £2,678.75 for The Salvation Army in support our Chatham Tweenagers’ project for the Matumaini School in Tanzania.

I know that the money will make a massive difference to the lives of the children at Matumaini."*

We’re so proud of you, Chris—not just for crossing the finish line, but for the difference you’re making in so many young lives. 🌍❤️

Running 26.2 miles is no small feat, but doing it to support the Matumaini Project and help change the lives of young people makes it even more inspiring. Every step he takes is making a real difference—providing education, essential resources, and hope for brighter futures.

Wishing you all the strength and encouragement for race day tomorrow, Chris—you’ve got this! 🙌
