Cefn Cribwr Primary - well what can we say! Thank you all so much! You should all be really proud of your donations for harvest. We will use this to give back to your direct community here in the village and what a difference it will make. We were blown over with your generosity- thank you!!!

OK! We are up and running on bank the food. This app is a wonderful way to find local food banks if you need support. For us it is a brilliant way to let the community know where we are in able to support them.
It also lets people know what we are in need of for our supplies. Then if you are visiting the building for any reason you can drop something in to support us. For example if you see we need beans, add a tin to your shop if you want and bring it to us when it suits or your visiting for another reason. The hope is if multiple people but 1 thing off the list every now and then the impact in to our direct community could be huge! Every little helps as they say.

I am going to set up a box in the reception area for donations of needed items.

WHAT A FAB DAY 🤩 thank you every one!! More of this please. It is so wonderful to be part of a growing and incredibly exciting community hub!

Sarah & Nicola were thrilled to join BCLC Kids at their Community event this afternoon. It was great to speak to members of the church and local community and catch up with the other groups that use the building.

🍰 Carly & Drew from Madbakes talked about their first weeks of opening and provided a delicious buffet for all.

🌪️ We heard more about the new parent and toddler group Tiny Tornadoes which intends to open mid October.

💪 Had an update from Cefn Cribwr boxing club and were excited to learn that one of their members brought home silver at their recent competition.

🚨Local PCSO Jo talked about new online email service from our local South Wales Police called South Wales Listens (southwaleslistens.co.uk)

It was a lovely event. We are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community and look forward to working together as we welcome more through the doors! Thanks all for a wonderful afternoon! 🥰

This Sunday at our community event I will be taking the hot seat along side our other partners. I am talking all things Tiny Tornadoes our new upcoming baby toddler group. If any one wants to come along to find out more or ask questions please do!!!

There will be no play session along side the community event but I can’t help it if a wee play area appears at the back of the hall while we all chat 🤩

Children remain the responsibility of parent/guardian/carers while at this event.

We gathered as a church this morning and we were struck with a sense of collective gratitude for the week that's just gone by. Seeing our cafe space being resurrected (pardon the pun) after around 7 years of stagnation was an absolute Joy and a genuine blessing. To be partnering with local business Madbakes and having people from surrounding areas enjoying the space, connecting with others and creating a communal atmosphere was just inspiring for us and we couldnt think of a better set of people to be working with. Our Ethos is "Love God, Love People" and the practical outworking of that includes using our spaces to enable people to connect, contribute and belong, regardless of ethnicity, culture, gender, creed, sexuality and yes, even faith tradition. We meet regularly as a church on Sunday's, and we now have Bridgend Carers Centre Cefn Cribwr boxing club Sarah Lingley Panes taekwondo and now utilising the building and serving the community in multiple ways. We also have a mother and toddler group in the pipeline (watch this space in coming days for more news on this). If you haven't tried produce yet, please pop in Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 2:30pm. We can vouch for most of their offerings already!! 😋 Hope to see you all at Bethlehem Church Life Centre soon!!

OFFICIAL OPENING - FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2026 ✨

We’ll be serving a range of light bites - paninis, baguettes, toasties, salads and sandwiches alongside our homemade cakes and fresh coffee! Takeaway and sit-in available. 🍪☕️

✨ Our menu will be extended over time with weekly specials available, along with produce made without gluten, so please bare with us! ✨

Opening Hours:
Wednesday – Saturday, 9:30am – 2:30pm!
