A date for your diary! There is to be a service of Induction and Licensing in our Church on Monday 22nd June, when our priest, Father Robert Beaken, becomes our Rector. The service will be conducted by The Right Reverend William Hazlewood, Bishop of Lewes, with the Venerable Russell Dewhurst, Archdeacon of Hastings. Do join us for this very special occasion, the service starts at 7.30pm and refreshments will be served afterwards.

A lovely service today, where the Young at Heart Jane and Bill helped Father Robert read the Gospel story of Jesus' baptism. The sermon included a brilliant explanation of the Holy Trinity involving 2 and a half bottles of wine and a Graham Greene novel....

Father Robert visited Catsfield CEP School this week to talk about Pentecost, to help the children learn about the coming of the Holy Spirit after Jesus has ascended to heaven. We celebrate Pentecost in Church this coming Sunday, 24th May. Our service is at the usual time of 9:15. Do join us to celebrate and to learn, everyone is very welcome!

Several members of our congregation , led by Trudi, were involved with organising and running the plant sale in the Catsfield VillageHall yesterday, in aid of Christian Aid -:and what a fantastic result! The sale raised in the region of £1900 for this very worthy cause - well done, gang!

It was wonderful to have Revd Steve Gendall, from Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre to lead our service this morning. Harrison and Dotty helped with reading, carrying the cross, and bringing the collection to the altar. It was a warm and joyful service and we felt truly blessed.
