Thank you to all who made yesterday's poetry service a real corker! No one wanted to stop talking about the poems, so the session overran by a whole hour, which has got to be a record. Special thanks, of course, to session leader Jeff Hilson whose 30+ years as a professional poet and academic added a real depth to the discussions. We look forward to his next Sunday session with us in December - shall we try to break the record?

Here is one of the poems Jeff and the attendees discussed, "Homecoming" by Paul Celan:

Thank you to Rev CJ McGregor for leading us in a very meaningful and productive "Visioning Day" on Saturday, where we had the opportunity to take stock of who we are as a congregation and how we might get to where we want to be in the near future. It was a very inspiring day!
