It's here! The second edition of our new format Worship Bulletin created with Canva. This weeks learning has been around "layers" to create the type of header that was so easy to do when using Publisher. An interesting time of frustration and success!

Today is our monthly Bible Study and on page 2 you can find the Bible verses and reflection questions to help you go deeper into God's word and in your relationship with God through exploring and reflecting on God's word in the Bible. The four themes drawn out for our Bible Study are the headers of each section. We encourage you to watch this weeks worship reel on FaceBook to hear the explanation for these 4 themes. A joy in worship is music and singing together as community. The Salvation Army has an incredible wealth of musicians, composers, singers and those of us that just enjoy praising God in song as we worship. Todays worship theme is "Shine Jesus Shine" exploring the meaning behind the lyrics of Graham Kendrick's worship song.

Our pre worship song "Lord, Thou Art Questioning" is a choral classic sung by the International Staff Songsters of The Salvation Army. A song of surrender it picks up the themes of sacrificial purification and the search for inner holiness where God consumes all our darkness. Mirroring the lines in "Shine Jesus Shine" about entering God's brightness through Christ's sacrifice on the cross, it reminds us of the need to submit as we start our time of gathered worship together. It's here! The brand new format for our worship bulletin. With Microsoft bringing to an end the publishing software we have used for many years its time to change.

Please bear with us and any mistakes that you encounter as we work to become familiar with Canva, its quirks and the need to grapple with layers and different ways of creating graphics and layouts. This is a first our first attempt.
The Upcoming Events section has been updated with activity up to the end of the December. You are invited to join us any Sunday, or at fundraisers. Many blessings Ailsa

Some lovely cards being made at our Crafty Coffee Beans group over the last few weeks 🙂
And we even had a little one join us this morning. She enjoyed making the sand art magnet.

All ages are welcome to our group so feel free to bring your little ones along with you.
