Our Castlewellan Holiday Week family has been deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Timothy Harte yesterday.

Timothy had been part of CHW since the very beginning of his life, first appearing on stage as a baby and toddler while his parents led worship. He grew up through our Youth & Childrenโ€™s Programme, and his leaders will fondly remember him as a bright, curious, and wonderfully mannered childโ€”full of fun and joy.

As he grew older, Timothy became a remarkable young man. Those of us at CHW who were fortunate enough to know him always valued a good conversation with him.

Timothy faced his illness with incredible courage over many years. As individuals and as a CHW family, we prayerfully followed his journey through its highs and lows. His faith throughout this time was truly inspiring and left a lasting impact on us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ross, Kathryn, Micah, Samuel, and Ethan, as well as Timothyโ€™s grandparents, wider family, and close friends at this very difficult time.

Do you love working with kids and supporting volunteers? Weโ€™re looking for two organised, enthusiastic people to help co-ordinate our Childrenโ€™s Team this year!

Youโ€™ll help with planning, supporting volunteers, managing resources, and creating a fun, faith-filled atmosphere for the children all week.
