Remembering Timothy

Our Castlewellan Holiday Week family have been so saddened to hear of the passing of Timothy Harte yesterday.

Timothy has been attending CHW since he was born with many visits on stage as a baby and toddler when his parents were leading worship. He has grown up through the children's programme and his leaders will remember him as such a bright and curious child, always so mannerly but full of fun.

Timothy had grown into the best young man and those of us at CHW who were fortunate enough to know him would always get a good chat.

He has battled so bravely against his illness for years and many of us, both individually and as a holiday week family, have prayerfully followed his ups and downs. Timothy's faith throughout all of this has been an inspiration to us all.

All our thoughts and prayers are now with Ross, Kathryn, Micah, Samuel and Ethan as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Hello CHW! Apologies if us popping out of our winter hibernation on this very stormy day brings back some traumatic memories for chw25 campers!

We have just been made aware that there are two old youth team tents being kept in storage. As these will no longer be needed for the youth team, we are keen to find them a new home.

They are 8 man tents, and have been stored wrapped up as in the picture for a few years. We can't guarantee their condition, but hopefully they still have some life left in them.

If you would be interested in one for your youth group or yourself, drop us a wee message.
