Food Bank at The Link

Where has the time gone. 10 years ago today we started foodbank at the link.
During this time we have given out over 40,000 parcels feeding 120,000+ people.
We have also given out 700 Christmas hampers.
Tim and I have taken the decision to hand the baton on so from next week we will no longer be running the foodbank. there will be a new team taking over.
We want to thank each and every person who has donated or volunteered over the last 10 years and know you will continue to support the new team going forward.

What an amazing evening we had yesterday feeding the families of our community 😍❤️ but now we need your help!

We are desperate for carrier bags. Our usual source that we buy from are no longer able to sell us them due to store restrictions. Please if you have any lying around please think of donating them to us.
Also if you use the foodbank can you bring your own bags.

Final delivery of the day was taken out by our lovely Janet Hughes this evening. 💖 Easter eggs donated to our friends at Food Bank at The Link to be handed out with the food parcels to our local families. 🐰🐣💖

We are looking for volunteers to help at the foodbank on a Thursday evening between 6-7.30pm.
